Congratulations! You have your real estate license and are ready to work with buyers and sellers — but where do you start?

Welcome to The Right Start - Your Path to Success at Canopy Real Estate Institute.

The Right Start is divided into three, live-stream (Zoom) classes designed to give you the tools necessary to get your business up and running. Classes are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Click here for Zoom technology guidelines.
Class dates are January 24, January 26 and February 2.

Courses can be taken individually or — for a more complete experience — as a series of three.  To allow for a personalized experience, the series has limited seating. Single course registration will open after seats for the three-part series are filled. There is no guarantee single classes will be available once slots are filled for the series.

The Right Start series goes far beyond lectures by offering hands-on activities, networking opportunities and in-class exercises. After the first day, you’ll have real-world skills to start accomplishing your goals.

What you’ll learn in each course:

Part 1: Building Your Business and Demonstrating Your Value:
Learn how to get your business up and running, write a business plan, develop target marketing strategies and convert leads to sales. 

Part 2: Converting Buyers and Building Your Buyer-Side Business: 
Become knowledgeable about buyer agreements and securing loyalty, creating a buyer-counseling presentation, navigating paperwork and understanding what today’s buyer clients want.
Note: This class also offers four hours of North Carolina continuing-education (CE) credit based on successful completion of the course. Students are required to participate and be in class for the required amount of time (on camera) to receive CE credit. 

Part 3: Neutralizing Seller Concerns and Building Your Listing-Side Business:
Gain useful information to work effectively with sellers. Discuss handling objections, pricing and Comparative Market Analysis, lead conversion, research and preparation and more.
Note: This class offers four hours of North Carolina continuing-education (CE) credit based on successful completion of the course. Students are required to participate and be in class for the required amount of time (on camera) to receive CE credit.
