The At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification course covers how to work effectively with diverse populations so you can build business success in today's multicultural real estate market. Learning Outcomes: Develop an increased awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit you from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business. Learn inclusive, multi-cultural marketing and advertising strategies to broaden your client base. Formulate an inclusive business plan to help you create an enduring business that is able to adapt and evolve to an ever-changing marketplace. The core course to obtain the At Home with Diversity Certification. Counts for elective credit toward the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, and towards the C2EX Endorsement. The course provides four hours of North Carolina continuing education elective credit (90% attendance required). Course materials and Zoom link will be email to enrolled students prior to class. To earn the AHWD certification, Realtors® must be in good standing with NAR, complete the one-day certification course, and submit the certification application and a one-time fee of $75 (reduced to $40 thru 12/31/22). After registration is complete, you can pick up hard copy materials at 1120 Pearl Park Way, Charlotte, NC 28204, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. excluding holidays. Hard copy materials are not required but recommended. Prior to your class you will be emailed all required materials.
