All provisional and non-BIC brokers must take the General Update course.

Important Note: If a BIC or broker who is BIC-eligible takes the General Update, CE credit will be given, but BIC status/eligibility will be lost.

Cheryl Crawford, CDEI, NCCP

Cheryl Crawford has more than thirty years of experience as a coach/trainer, public speaker and educator. As an approved instructor by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, Cheryl has been teaching Broker Prelicensing, Broker Postlicensing and continuing education courses since 2005. Cheryl engages and challenges her students by using her experience as an educator and real estate practitioner.  

In addition to teaching, Cheryl is the owner and broker-in-charge of C. Crawford and Associates, specializing in commercial brokerage throughout the state of North Carolina. Her real estate experiences include commercial and residential brokerage services, land development and acquisitions, and real estate specialization consulting. Cheryl incorporates real-life experiences in her teachings, allowing students to gain a better understanding of the topics and to reach their goals of success.

Cheryl is currently a member of various boards in the real estate sector, as well as city, state and national organizations:

COURSE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
If you need to cancel or transfer your registration, please contact Canopy Real Estate Institute at (704) 372-2984 or email canopyreinstitute@canopyrealtors.com. 

Canopy Real Estate Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule. Students will have the option to reschedule to another course or receive a full tuition refund, if applicable.

If an instructor's connectivity fails during a virtual/live-stream course and instruction cannot take place as scheduled, Canopy Real Estate Institute will reschedule the missed date(s) as needed. Students who cannot attend the rescheduled course date(s) have the option to be counted as absent, reschedule to another course, or receive a full tuition refund.
