COURSE DESCRIPTION: 10 Things You Need to Know About Land will teach the real estate agent the important things to research while engaging a real estate consumer in the purchasing and selling of a lot or land. It will also teach them how to look for certain unseen things in the ground for property with existing structures. Holping them to be a better educated agent will ultimately benefit the consumer directly. COURSE MATERIALS: Student Manual will be provided via Canopy Campus prior to start of course. In-Person Classes only: Students will receive a hard copy of the course materials when you arrive to class. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: You are required to attend 90% of this class. Students cannot make up missed time due to lateness or absences. Students should ensure they can attend the required classroom hours before registering for a class. COMPLETION & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: You will not receive credit for class time and participation if you fail to adhere to the policies outlined in our Policies and Procedures Disclosure. COURSE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: Canopy Real Estate Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule. Students will have the option to reschedule to another course or receive a full tuition refund, if applicable. Students who cannot attend the rescheduled course date(s) have the option to be counted as absent, reschedule to another course, or receive a full tuition refund.
