DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy Canopy Real Estate Institute In-Person Class Policies PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. • In-person class size is limited. • At this time, all students must follow our screening, social distancing and mask requirements while attending in-person classes at Canopy. • Screening will occur upon entry. • Six feet social distancing will be required in the common areas, restrooms and in the classrooms. • Masks must be worn at all times while on-site including, classrooms, restrooms and common areas. • Masks must cover both nose and mouth at all times. • Canopy does not provide food or beverages. You may bring a small snack or beverage but masks must be replaced immediately. • Building access is limited to the classroom area on the first floor. • Failure to adhere to any of the above In-Person Class Policies will result in an individual being asked to leave the premises and forfeiting CE credit for the class. • Students who are uncomfortable with, or unable to follow the In-Person Class Policies are welcome to enroll in live-stream classes that are still available at Canopy Real Estate Institute. This is the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's 2021-2022 General Update course for the renewal period July 1, 2021 through June 10, 2022. Topics discussed include: WWREA Disclosure Racial Equity Broker Fiduciary Duties Law & Rule Updates Licensing & Education All provisional and non-BIC brokers must take the General Update course. Important Note: If a BIC or broker who is BIC-eligible takes the General Update, CE credit will be given, but BIC status/eligibility will be lost. He has also authored an elective course, "Understanding Today's Investors," which is a behind the scenes look at how investors operate and look to profit from deals.
